The 4th Annual Youth Agricultural Lifetime Leadership (YALL) Tour will be July 15-20, 2018. The tour has been a tremendous success the past three years with 70+ youth participating. We have decided to open the application up state-wide to include all 4-H members throughout Texas an opportunity to participate. Youth will be touring South Texas and the Rio Grande Valley area, providing them the opportunity to witness agriculture production and issues related to agriculture production including everything from immigration to hurricanes to fever ticks. Steer and Heifer Validation has been set for June 24, 2019 from 8 am to 10 am. Validation will take place at Dr. Blooms clinic in Windthorst. If you have any question please contact Archer County Extension at 940-574-4914.
Validation for all Lambs, Goat, and Heifers will be held at the Holliday FFA Barn on October 28th, 2019 from 4:00pm to 7:00pm. If you have any questions please contact the county extension office.

Archer County 4-H is hosting a Virtual Showmanship Class for steers, heifers, and dairy cattle. There will be 4 age divisions (peewee, junior, intermediate, and senior). Peewee will under 3rd grade, junior will be 3rd through 5th grade, intermeditate will be 6th through 8th grade, and senior will be 9th through 12th grade. All grade are from the 2019-2020 school year.
